Parenting sessions (individual or support group) can help parents identify challenges and confront them by responding, instead of reacting (letting our emotions control our reactions). I work collaboratively with you to understand your child and develop a healthier relationship through mindful and playful approaches that will help diminish difficulties and support you in your role as parent. Parenting sessions have many benefits, such as increased awareness of the issues influencing your child’s behaviour, better management of your own emotions and behaviours, increased self-esteem in your child, healthier family relationships and greater confidence in your parenting role. Together we navigate the world of children’s play, focusing on connection, confidence, laughter, play and roughhousing.
